Welcome to High-STEP CNA, a revolutionary platform transforming Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) education. Our journey began with the High-STEP Health Science Academy, a South Central Service Cooperative program in rural South-Central Minnesota. We aimed to break down barriers and expand access to quality healthcare training for students across the region.

The High-STEP Health Science Academy offers various health science courses, including nurse assistant training, to over 12 school districts in South-Central Minnesota. When geographic distance posed a challenge for aspiring CNAs to attend in-person classes, we created the High-STEP CNA program to provide training directly to students regardless of their location.

To ensure CNA training is accessible to everyone, we have introduced an innovative online course. This allows students to learn at their own pace, from the comfort of their school or home. We collaborated with virtual reality experts to develop the CNA VR Skills and CAN mobile app, recognizing the value of hands-on experience. This cutting-edge technology provides realistic, immersive environments to help students enhance their practical skills, regardless of location.

The success of the High-STEP CNA program inspired us to think globally and led to the creation of High-STEP CNA International. This new initiative aims to expand our transformative approach beyond U.S. borders, providing comprehensive training, remote testing, and job placement services to international candidates pursuing CNA careers in the United States.

High-STEP CNA has positively impacted numerous students' lives, evolving from an innovative concept to a flourishing program. Our innovative learning approaches showcase the transformative potential of education to overcome limitations.
